The show is set in a village called Kaliganj and has the distinction of hosting Mr. Kabir Bedi for the very first time on Indian Television. "SHORR" is a story of a mute woman and her struggle against the anachronistic customs and rituals practiced by the society. The story higlights indifferential and adverse treatment and social abondonment faced by a widow and her fight for self-realisation and dignified living.
"BITTO" is set against the backdrop of social discrimination in a village in Uttar Pradesh. It depicts the depradating tyranny and subjugation of lower castes by the higher castes.
